SUMMARY: Maintain and develop functionality for interfacing with various state and regional data systems. Coordinate customer and state/regional data manager concerns.
Essential duties and responsibilities include development knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- .NET Web Services/WCF and Libraries (Visual Studio)
- XML technologies (XSL, XSD, XPath)
- Relational database systems, preferably Oracle, and SQL experience are essential.
- Code debugging and QA testing utilizing tools such as the built-in browser debuggers, Wireshark, Fiddler, etc.
- Good software, bug tracking, project documentation skills and experience with source control systems
Optional, but helpful, skills include:
- Healthcare or Pre-Hospital experience
This position will primarily work to add custom state/regional data fields, modify export/import web service code, add additional customer reporting tools, coordinate and implement state/regional testing and compliance projects, and other projects utilizing the NEMSIS standard such as CARES, the Cardiac Arrest Registry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
