We’ve added the following new functionality in this release.
Incident Command Times on Basic Tab. We added a number of optional time fields on the Basic tab, including “Primary Search Complete”, “Secondary Search Complete”, and a few other times relevant for command benchmarks.
Improved NFIRS Print Page. The formatting and organization of the NFIRS print page has been cleaned up for many common incident types.
CAD Import Improvements. There were two major improvements made to the CAD Import process.
From the basic tab, users may now choose one or more fire apparatus to import with a single click. Previously, users had to navigate to the Apparatus tab to import additional vehicles.
On the apparatus tab, it now restricts the list of vehicles to be imported to those that were dispatched for the incident. Previously this list showed all dispatches, even if they weren’t related to the incident specified.
Fixed in this Release
We fixed the following issues with this release of Fire Reports.
Hydrant Address Number Does Not Appear in Grid. In the Hydrants module, the Hydrant grid was not showing the numerical part of the address of a hydrant’s location.
Allow the Incident Type to Change for Exposures. For exposure fires, there was an issue that prevented the user from changing the incident type. Previously, the user was restricted to the incident type for the primary exposure.
Data Validation Processing Inconsistencies. In many scenarios, custom data validation rules were not acting appropriately. Issues including data validation not firing, summary messages not showing, and red borders not clearing were all addressed.
